Benjamin Hachmann Licensed Funeral Director/Owner benhachmann@yahoo.com

A Native of Bellevue, Ben and his wife Nicole (Konrardy) Hachmann own Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Together Ben and Nicole are blessed with two beautiful daughters, Madison and Sydney, and a son Jack.

Ben is a 1992 graduate of Bellevue High School. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He later attended and graduated from Loras College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business.

In the winter of 2002, Ben’s grandfather died and, while assisting his parents and grandmother with the funeral arrangements and attending the funeral, it occurred to him that he could see himself as a funeral director. Ben researched what it would take to become a funeral director and that summer he worked with Randy Kingery in Bellevue to really make sure that was the profession for him.

In the fall of 2003, Ben enrolled in the Carl Sandburg Mortuary Science program in Galesburg Illinois.

Ben is excited to be back in Bellevue, and working in the community he grew up in.

“I find funeral service extremely challenging and rewarding. To be trusted with the arrangements and details of a loved one’s life is something that I do not take lightly. I was raised to treat others by the golden rule and I continue to live by this daily.”
