In July 2018, Mark and his wife Emily purchased the Hachmann Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Mark E. Mier was born and raised in South Dakota. He graduated from the University of South Dakota with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, then earned a degree in Mortuary Science at Kansas City Kansas Community College in 1998. He began his funeral service career in Iowa in 1998, where he met his wife. Mark and his wife Emily have a daughter Claire. A lifetime member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity – South Dakota Alpha. Mark has earned the CCSP (Certified Cremation Service Provider) designation from the National Funeral Directors Association. They attend St. Joseph's Catholic Church, a member of Bellevue Knights of Columbus 1354 and Bellevue Area Centennial Lions Club. We enjoy spending time with family and friends and attending community events. Mark is licensed in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin and is a member of the Iowa Funeral Directors Association and National Funeral Directors Association
Mike has lived almost his entire life in Bellevue, graduating from Marquette High School. He is married to Liz (who passed away on Nov. 9, 2020) and they have 2 daughters; Jodi and Stephanie and 4 grandchildren.
Mike was employed at Interstate Power / Alliant Energy for 45 years retiring in 2010. He joined the staff at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in 2010. Mike also served on the Bellevue City Council for 14 years, and also served 2 terms on the Bellevue Golf Club board of directors and is an honorary member of the Bellevue Fire Dept. Mike enjoys golfing and yard work in his free time.
Max and his wife Mary are very active in the Bellevue Area and surrounding community. They are members of the First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue where they have served on several boards and committees. Max is a graduate of Bellevue Community Schools. He works part time for Paramount Emergency Medical Services of Dubuque. He is also a member of Bellevue Emergency Medical Service. Max enjoys water skiing and is co-director of Ski Bellevue's water ski show team. He is a long time member of the Bellevue Rotary Club and the Bellevue Heritage Committee.
Max has two children, Scott(Alma) of Carlisle, Iowa and Kemis Hoyt of Berlin H.H. and three grandchildren.
