Aaron Heacock

Aaron Heacock, 89, of LaMotte, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, at his home in LaMotte. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday morning, April 25, 2014, at St. John Lutheran Church in St. Donatus. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Visitation for Aaron will be held from 3:00 7:00 p.m. Thursday Evening at the Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue and again on Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at the Church. Aaron was born on February 7, 1925 in Dubuque, son of Clarence and Mamie (Nesler) Heacock. He married Arlice Wiegert on June 15, 1968. Aaron farmed his entire life and enjoyed every minute of it. Working hard is all he knew and instilled that work ethic into his kids. He was gentle, kind hearted and determined. He loved his family and always enjoyed their time together. He was a great mentor and will be deeply missed. Those left to honor his memory include his wife of 45 years, Arlice; three children, Gloria, Anita and Roger Heacock, all of LaMotte, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
