January 25, 2007 Funeral 4 pm, Sunday Visit 1-4 pm, Sunday Kingery~Lemke Funeral Home, Bellevue, Iowa Carl Joseph Cornwell Butch 61, of Bellevue passed away Thursday, January 25, 2007 at his home under the care of Dubuque Hospice. Carl was born August 1st, 1945 in Dubuque, son of the late Alfred and Betty (Fox) Cornwell. He married Shirley Felderman, on July 14th, 1973 in Bellevue. She survives. Carl was a self employed handyman in Bellevue over 20 years. He met Shirley at Clinton Engines in Maquoketa where they worked together. Besides his loving wife of 33 years, Shirley Cornwell of Bellevue, survivors include, three sisters, Mary Lou (George) Flanagan, Betty Jean Ansel and Phyllis (Dick) Lang of Dubuque; brother-in-law, Gary Seiler, Bellevue and sisters-in-law Sam (Bill) Demker, Dubuque;, Bonnie (Eugene) Cleveland, Prior Lake, MN; other relatives and friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by siblings, Ron, Don and Peggy Cornwell and Pat McAtee. Funeral Services will be held at 4 pm on Sunday, January 28th, 2007 at the Kingery~Lemke Funeral Home in Bellevue. Pastor Paul Gammelin will officiate. Private graveside services will be conducted Monday in the St. Johns Cemetery, Bellevue. Friends may call on Sunday from 1 pm until the time of Services all at the Funeral Home in Bellevue. Kingery~Lemke Funeral Home, Bellevue is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may directed to the family. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to Hospice of Dubuque, especially Barb and Lisa for their wonderful care and support.
