Delores H. Hingtgen

Delores H. Hingtgen, 91, of Bellevue, passed away, Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday morning, January 14, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation for Delores will be held from 1:004:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service and again on Monday morning after 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home until procession to church. Delores was born on February 21, 1921 in Bellevue, Iowa, daughter of John and Mae (Hoff) Budde. She married Raymond Hingtgen on September 17, 1940 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue. He passed away September 3, 2004. Delores was a very thoughtful, giving person whose life was centered around her family. Her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren were extremely important to her. Delores was very social and was always on the go. She loved playing cards, bingo and her gambling trips to Las Vegas. In her early years she enjoyed dancing with her husband, Ray. Delores will be deeply missed by all. Those left to honor her memory include her three sons, Larry (Darla), of Bellevue, Roger (Twila), of De Witt, and Lynn (Barb), of Bellevue; a daughter Jane (Dennis) Ernst, of Bellevue; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and sisters in-law, Verna Budde, Ila Budde, Yvonne Kruser and LeAnn Barr. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughters, Megan and Andrea Hingtgen; brothers, Marvin, Orville, LeRoy, Wayne, Richard, and Robert; and two brothers in infancy, Arthur and Edmund.
