Dennis L. Mangler

Dennis L. Mangler, 60, of Bellevue, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. Arrangements are pending at the Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue. A Celebration of Life will be held for Dennis, Saturday, October 5, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Dennis was born on September 15, 1952 in Edgewood, IA, son of Eldon and Wanda (Tilp) Mangler. He married Linda VanDyke on September 15, 1994. Dennis was in construction most of his life, he also worked for Catepillar and drove truck. He enjoyed woodworking and playing video games, but his passion was motorcycles. He loved anything Harley Davidson. He collected Harley memorabilia and loved to ride. Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Linda, of Bellevue; nine children, Ivan (Donella) Moss, Denise (Marshall) Geriens, Danielle (Leo) Aviles, Derrick (Darlene) Mangler, Dustin (Kelly) Mangler, D.J. Mangler, Troy (Alisha) Wilhelm, Chad (Heather) Wilhelm and Aaron Wilhelm; 13 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two brothers, David and Doug.
