Douglas S. Birchall

Douglas S. Birchall, 79, passed away Sunday, May 25th, 2008, at Big Meadows Nursing Home, Savanna, Illinois. Douglas was born May 20th, 1929, in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Dorothy Birchall. He was a bartender for the Red Lion in Portland, Oregon. Douglas was proud to have served his country in the United States Navy. He is survived by one son, Steve (Debbie) Birchall, San Diego, CA and one daughter, Vickey (Kevin) McGinty, Mt. Carroll, Illinois; one granddaughter, Desiree Birchall and one great grandson, Caden Hughes; one brother and one sister. Cremation rights were accorded. The Lemke Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Clinton, is in charge of the arrangements.
