Edward P. Putman, 90 of Bellevue, died Monday, January 25, 2010 at his home, surrounded by his family. Honoring Eddies wishes there will be no public services. Arrangements are being handled by the Kingery Funeral Home. Edward was born on December 22 1919 in Bellevue, son of Ralph and Jessie (McCard) Putman. He was married to Angeline J. Hauge in Pierre, South Dakota. Ed was a commercial fisherman, trapper and hunter. He was in CCCs and boxed in the golden gloves. He enjoyed many sports, especially bowling, roller skating, and tennis. He also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Ed was an avid rock hound and Cubs fan. He is Survived and lovingly remembered by his wife Angie Putman, of Bellevue; eight children, Judy (Marvin) Manning, of Miles, Terrance (Helen) Putman, of Bellevue, Diane (Tom) Stutting, of Camanche, Jo (Jim) Edwards, of Dubuque, Paula (Bob Demkier) Clark, of Camanche, Edward (Nancy) Putman, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, Scott (Dorie) Putman, of Bellevue, and Angela (Kevin) Ballenger, of Paris, Tennessee; 19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Ronnie Putman in 2008, and four brothers. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.kingeryfuneralhome.com.
