Elaine J. Feller

Elaine J. Feller, 81, of Bellevue, passed away peacefully, Sunday morning, March 12, 2017, at Mill Valley Care Center, in Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 16, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Bellevue. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Visitation for Elaine will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bellevue and again Thursday morning from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. also at the Funeral Home. Elaine was born on April 20, 1935 in Springbrook, Iowa the daughter of Harold and Agnes (Helmle) Blitgen. She married Sylvester Shorty Feller on October 14, 1953 in Bellevue. He passed away on June 23, 2006. Elaine was a strong willed, helpful person who enjoyed playing cards, riding horses, spending time on the farm, and attending mass. Elaine belonged to the Bellevue Saddle Club, and the Illinois State Stock Horse Association.Those left to honor her memory include her children, Patti (Larry) Hager, of Bellevue, Peg (Jim) Skoff, of Bellevue, Pete (Marcia) Feller, of Fulton, Illinois, and Perry (Ginny Gansen), of Bellevue; two grandchildren, Barry (Leslee) Hager, and Brett (Emily) Hager; and four great grandchildren, Tayt, Trace, Elliott, and Clara Hager. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband.In Lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Elaines name.
