James Michael Remakel

James Jim M. Remakel, 59, of Bellevue, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 at his home in Bellevue. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, December 30 at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue. Burial will be in St Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation for James will be held from 10:00 11:00am Friday also at the funeral home. Jim was born on September 24, 1957 in Bellevue, son of Richard and Dorothy (Sulzner) Remakel. Jim Graduated from Bellevue Community High School, class of 76. He worked for Felderman-Remakel Construction for many years. In his lifetime he worked the many trades in construction. He was also a talented mechanic and enjoyed working on muscle cars. Jim suffered a stroke several years ago and greatly appreciated the many people in the Bellevue Community that helped him on a daily basis. He is survived by his brother, Rick (Heidi), Remakel, of Prescott, Arizona; nephew, Jeff Remakel, of Austin, Texas; and two nieces, Jennifer Remakel, of Phoenix, Arizona and Kathy Remakel, of Las Vegas, Nevada.He was preceded in death by his parents.The family would like to thank First Presbyterian Church and Congregation, Benders Foods and their staff, and the many volunteers of the RTA Bus, for their care and concern for James, these past couple of years.
