John Ardo Sprank

John Ardo Sprank, 49, of West Des Moines, passed away, Thursday Morning, September 25, 2014, at Methodist West Hospital in West Des Moines. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 11, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Bellevue. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Visitation for John will be held Friday, October 10, from 4:00 7:00 p.m. at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service and again Saturday morning from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at Hachmann Funeral Home. John was born July 27, 1965 in Bellevue, son of Ardo and Jeanette (Hempeler) Sprank. John graduated from Marquette High School in 1983 and American Institute of Business, Des Moines in 1985. John has had a successful career as a financial consultant in West Des Moines. Faith, family and friends were very important to John. He also loved to travel, golf, hunt and fish and play cards with his many friends. John was a Cubs and Hawkeye fan and enjoyed attending as many games as he could. He is survived by his mother, Jeanette, of Bellevue; sister, Judy Sprank, of Bettendorf; brother, Jamie, of Bellevue; niece, Taylor; aunts, an uncle, cousins and many close friends and business associates. He was preceded in death by his father, Ardo in 1978 In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Johns Name.
