Jon F. Reuss

Jonathan Jon Reuss, 34, of DeWitt, died Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center in DeWitt. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 24, at 10:30 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, Bellevue. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery, Otter Creek. Visitation for Jon will be held from 3:00 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Hachmann Funeral Home in Bellevue and again Friday morning after 9:30 at the church. Jon was born February 12, 1976 in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of James and Rita (Kueter) Reuss. He was employed with Johnson Concrete in DeWitt for the past four years. Jon was hard working, active, caring and had a very positive attitude. He enjoyed playing many sports, including football, baseball, and volleyball. He also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and Paintballing. Those left to honor his memory include his Fiancé, Randi Runge, of DeWitt; a daughter, Briah Lynn Reuss; two step children Jaiden and Audra Siefert; Parents, James and Rita Reuss, of Bellevue; brother, Michael (Judy) Kilburg, of Cedar Rapids; sister, Julie (David) Harford, of Parker, Colorado; step-brother, Paul (Mary) Reuss; two step sisters, Becky (Kurt) Hoffman, Rachel (Keith) Hoffman He was preceded in death by his son Matthew Ray Reuss, March 19, 2000; Paternal Grandparent, Wilbert and Mildred Reuss; and Maternal Grandparents, Harold and Maxine Kueter.
