Lorraine M. Steines

Lorraine M. Steines, 82, of Bellevue, died Monday, April 18, 2011 at Mill Valley Care Center, Bellevue. A Funeral Service will be celebrated Friday, April 22 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bellevue. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation for Lorraine will be held from 4:00 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue. Lorraine was born December 2, 1928 in Bellevue, Iowa, the daughter of August and Margaret (Roling) Wagner. She married Olmer Steines on December 25, 1948 in Bellevue. Lorraine was employed with the Department of Social Services in Maquoketa for over 20 years retiring in 1991. She was honest, softhearted and loving. She was always there for others. She was always interested in talking to and helping anyone in need. Those left to honor her memory include her daughter Carol Ann Griebel, of Bellevue; grandchildren, Kevin Griebel and Shelly (Todd) Lambert; grandchildren, Nicole and Chloe Lambert; brother, Melvin Wagner, of Bellevue, niece, Elaine Newmiller; and a nephew, Terry McCue.
