Lyle Frederick Wiegert

Lyle Frederick Wiegert, 66, of La Motte, died Friday, March 18, 2011 at Mill Valley Care Center. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 22 at St. John Lutheran Church, St. Donatus. Rev. Shane Keopke will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation for Lyle will be held from 3:00 7:00 p.m. Monday Evening at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Bellevue and again Tuesday morning after 10:00 at the church. Lyle was born January 7, 1945 on the family farm in rural LaMotte, son of Henry and Alice (Duesing) Wiegert. He resided with his sister Arlice and family. Lyle was a loving and caring person with a childlike innocence. He was always happy and extremely generous. He enjoyed helping on the farm and took great pride in every task he completed. Lyle spent his spare time in his favorite rocking chair, enjoying the Dukes of Hazard and Andy Griffith. His loving personality will be deeply missed. Those left to honor his memory include his three sisters, Arlice (Aaron) Heacock, of LaMotte, Charlene (Kenneth) Oberman, of Stillwater, Minnesota and Ruth (Lloyd) Hingtgen, of Bellevue; twelve nieces and nephews, Gloria, Anita, Roger, Kenneth, Susan, Sherri, Brian, Jodi, Travis, Troy, Terry and Tammy; and nineteen great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Henry Jr. The family would like to give a special thank you to Hospice of Jackson County, especially, Lisa and the entire staff at Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue for their care and compassion shown to Lyle.
