Mary L. Kueter

Mary L. Kueter, 86 of Bellevue, died Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque. Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 23 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Bellevue, officiated by Father Stephen Meyer. Burial will be in St. Josephs Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 22 at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH and again Tuesday from 9:30 until Mass. Mary Schilling was born on June 12, 1922 in LaMotte, daughter of Andrew and Christina (Berthel) Schilling. She married Milo Kueter on November 21, 1944. Mary was a homemaker all her life and also helped Milo with the farm. She always enjoyed being with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also liked to cook and play cards. Mary will be deeply missed by her family. Surviving is her husband of 64 years, Milo; two children, Ron (LaVonne) Keuter, and David (Linda) Kueter, both of Bellevue; six grandchildren, Terry (Linnet), Brian (Pamm), Jeanna (Fiance Matt Schmidt), Eric (Naomi), Jaydon and Brendan Kueter; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Les (Bonnie) Schilling and Russ (Joan) Schilling; and two sisters, Bernice Ehlers and Eileen Schaefer. She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Patricia. The family would like to thank Mill Valley for their care and compassion shown.
