Maryann (Muenster) Upmann

Maryann Upmann, 71 of Bellevue, IA passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Friday evening, October 21, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am, Wednesday, October 26, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue. Burial will take place in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation for Maryann will be from 4:00 to 7:00pm. Tuesday evening at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service and again Wednesday morning after 9:00am at the Funeral Home. Maryann was born April 14, 1945 in Bellevue, IA, daughter of John and Florence (Barth) Muenster. She married John Upmann on July 24, 1971 at St. Joseph's Church in Bellevue, IA, he passed March 12, 2002. Maryann cherished moments with her family and they were the light of her life. She loved attending her grandkids many activities, looked forward to Bingo Night and a good garage sale. Nanas grandkids meant the world to her and she will be especially missed by her dog Lilly. Those left to honor her memory include her three children, Dean (Jennifer) Upmann, of Bellevue, Tina (Mitch) Kelchen, of Bellevue, and Tami (Matt) Lansing, of Dubuque; eight grandchildren, Ben Upmann, Emma, Nicole, Shane, and Tate Kelchen; and Libby, Jack and Carver Lansing; brother, Anthony (Diana) Muenster; close friend, Rosie Etringer; and four sisters in-law, Darlene Skarda, Doris Rubel, Carole Poock and Debbie Marcov. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
