Nancy Lee Zabran

Nancy Lee Zabran, 74, of Bellevue, formerly of Elgin, Illinois passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012, at her Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Countryside Funeral Homes & Crematory in South Elgin. Visitation for Nancy will be held Saturday morning prior to the service from 10:00 12:00 p.m. also at the Funeral Home. Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue is handling local arrangements. Nancy Mogler was born on August 28, 1938 in Elgin, the daughter of Robert and Ruth (Hoagland) Mogler. She married Jerry Zabran on May 25, 1959, he passed away on May 1, 2000. Nancy lived most of her life in Elgin. Shortly after her husband passed, she moved to Bellevue. She loved the river and thought Bellevue was beautiful and quiet. Nancy was a generous women with a great sense of humor who loved her family. She cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she was a true grandmother. Nancy enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing bingo and cards. She will be deeply missed. Those left to honor her memory include her three sons, Michael (Lori), of Elgin, Illinois, Russell (Sherri), of Maquoketa, and David (Kelly), of South Elgin; daughter, Jerrilynn (Robert) Vandenberg, of Pulaski, Wisconsin; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Mogler and Thomas (Kris) Mogler, both of Elgin, and two sisters, Kae (Paul) Stewart, of Ft.
