Nathan Joseph Mottet, 23, of Bellevue, died Saturday, February 5, 2011 in Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 10 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bellevue. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation for Nathan will be held from 3:00 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue and again Thursday morning after 9:00 at the funeral Home. A Scripture Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Nathan was born January 5, 1988 in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Thomas and Louann (Frank) Mottet. Nathan spent the past couple of years mining in Colorado, and also worked as a tour guide at the Molly Kathleen Mine in Cripple Creek, Colorado. He recently moved back to Bellevue and worked at Mi-T-M Corporation in Peosta. Nathan had a gift to gab and always wore a smile. He enjoyed family gatherings, Country Music, and his Dodge Pick-up. He had a passion for spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing. Those left to honor his memory include his parents, Tom and Louann Mottet, of Bellevue; four brothers, Scott, of Ames, Iowa, Seth, of Ames, Iowa, John, of Riverside, Iowa, and Brent, of LaMotte. He was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy; and grandparents; Ed and Corinne Mottet and Aloysius Pete and Mildred Frank.
