Nyx Angelica Jones

Nyx Angelica Jones, 18 months, of Andrew, Iowa passed away Tuesday morning, July 21, 2015, at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa, surrounded by her family. A visitation for Nyx will be held from 3:00 to 6:00, Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue, Iowa. Nyx was born on January 26, 2014 in Fort Meade, Maryland, the daughter of Aaron and Jessica (Jochum) Jones. Nyx laughed and smiled throughout her 18 months; her infectious smile brought joy and happiness to everyone she touched. She loved to play and run around with her big sister and cousins; always trying to keep up. Although our time with her was cut short, she will remain with us everyday. Our memories with her are priceless and we will cherish them forever. 'It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone. Part of me went with you, the day God called you home.' Nyx is survived by her loving parents; her big sister, Lydia. Maternal Grandmother, Kimberly Jochum; Paternal Grandparents, Rodney and Kristine Jones; both of Bellevue; Aunts and Uncles, Natasha (Jeff) Schmidt, Tasha (Matt) Cook, Dustin (Megan) Jones.; all of Bellevue. And cousins; Alexus & J.J. Schmidt, Hunter & Hayden Jones and Addison Cook.
