Patricia Ann Vincent (Sparks)

Patricia Ann Vincent passed away on March 1, 2015 in Bellevue, Iowa. She was born on September 26, 1928 to Henry and Helen (Thomas) Sparks. Patricia spent the majority of her life on the south side of Des Moines, moving to Bellevue in 2004 to be closer to family. Pat was an avid reader with a vast amount of knowledge in a variety of subjects. Her family and friends relied on her knowledge and often came to her seeking advice. She loved gardening, cooking, and listening to music and was often heard around the house singing her favorite songs (especially Frank Sinatra). Above everything was her love for family. Patricia was a pillar of strength for her family that reached outward to extended family and friends. She always had a hug and a smile for those whom she loved, ending every visit with an I love you. She was preceded in death `by her son George Vincent and her daughter Fayelen (Vincent) Gassman, siblings Henry Sparks and Nancy Sparks, and her parents. Left to lovingly remember her legacy are her daughter Michelle (Jess) Vincent; daughter-in-law Christine (Cedarstrom) Vincent; siblings Barry Sparks and Ed (Pat) Sparks; her grandchildren Tyler, Natalie, Courtney, Dimitri, and Maya; her great-grandchild Max; and numerous nieces and nephews. No memorial services will be held. Thank you to Hospice of Jackson County and to all who have supported our family during this difficult time.
