Patrick J. Hurley

Patrick Joseph Hurley, 58, of Bellevue, passed away on Sunday Evening, December 21, 2014 at his residence in Bellevue. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30am Saturday, December 27 at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue, with Rev. Fr. Phillip Kruse officiating. Friends may call Friday Evening from 4 to 7pm at the funeral home and again, Saturday morning prior to the service from 10:30 until 11:15am also at the funeral home. Patrick J. Hurley was born October 22, 1956 in Bellevue, Iowa, the son of William and Mary (Hipschen) Hurley. He married Mary Jess on April 10, 2003. Pat graduated from Marquette High School in 1974. He worked as a Pipefitter for Local 125. Pat had a great sense of humor. He kept busy Hunting, Fishing, and Golfing. He enjoyed woodworking, watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and trips to Jamaica. Pat loved spending time with his family and his dogs, Toots, Bugsy and Morley. Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Mary Hurley, of Bellevue; son, Michael (Sabrina) Hurley, of Bellevue; two daughters, Kristen Hurley, of Dubuque; and Trisha (Ryan) Wright, of Apple Valley, Minnesota; eight grandchildren; and sister, Susan (Will) Findley, of Smithville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents. The Family would like to thank Hospice of Dubuque and TLC Homecare for the care and compassion shown to Pat over the past few weeks.
