Paul Francis Dickie Weber, 48, of St. Donatus, passed away, Friday, July 23, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family. A Funeral Mass will be held at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday evening, July 27 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bellevue. Visitation for Paul will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday also at the Church where a rosary service will be held at 2:45 p.m. Funeral Arrangements are being handled by Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Paul was born on October 8, 1961 in Dubuque, son of Vernon and Lorraine (Naumann) Weber. He married Angela Frohling on July 3, 2010 in St. Donatus. He graduated from Marquette high school in 1980. He drove a Ready Mix Truck for Apex in Dubuque for over 17 years. Dickie spent a majority of his spare time with his horses and loved training them for riding. He was a lifetime member of the American Quarter Horse Association and received a certificate for 5000 hours of riding time. Dickie was the trail boss for the St. Donatus Annual Fall Trail Ride for the past 22 years. He was a hard worker, enjoyed cutting wood and being outdoors. Dickie was a great man who was always there to lend a hand and loved his family very much. He will be deeply missed. Surviving is his wife, Angela Weber, of St. Donatus; stepson, Reese Frohling; parents, Vernon and Lorraine, of St. Donatus; 12 brothers and sisters, Peggy and Kathy Weber of Dubuque, Patricia (Ron) Ries and Leonard (Jane) Weber, of Bellevue, Liz (Steve) Staner, of Dubuque, Loras (Carolyn) Weber, of Bellevue, Larry Weber, of St. Donatus, Cletus (Theresa) Weber, of Bellevue, Joan Weber, of Dubuque, Nancy (Pat) Hanson, of North Liberty, Cindy (Gerry) Kluesner, of Luxemburg, and Joe (Ann) Weber, of St. Louis; father and mother in-law, Lawrence and Mary Lou Griebel, of Bellevue; 21 nieces and nephews; five great nieces and nephews; and three special god children, Cody Weber, Katie Hanson, and Maci Reeg. The Family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Mark Herman, Tony Heiar, University of Iowa Staff, Hospice of Dubuque, and all of Pauls nurses for their excellent care and support over the past six years.
