Ralph Lee Miller

Ralph Lee Miller, 87, formerly of Camanche, passed away Sunday at Harbor Crest Nursing Facility. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Dennis Glew will be officiating. A Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Ralph was born on May 10, 1920 in Sterling, IL to Earnest C. and Florence (Strauch) Miller. He was a graduate of Mt. Carroll High School. Ralph married Grace Helferich on June 4, 1954 in Mt Carroll. He was employed as a Machinist at Dupont in the Cellophane Processing Department. Ralph was a member of First Methodist Church. Ralph is survived by his two daughters, Marcia (Michael) Catena of Tampa, FL, and Lynn (Richard) Carr of Houston, MN, three step sons, Darrel (Clarice) Thomsen, Michael Thomsen, and Ronald Thomsen all of Camanche, IA, one step daughter, Bette (Ray) Kohler of Sycamore, IL, three grand children, five great grand children, thirteen step grandchildren, ten step great grandchildren, one step great great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one sister, one brother, and one step grandchild.
