Ralph L. Stillings

Ralph L. Stillings, 82, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the Alverno Health Care Center in Clinton. Ralph was born November 11th, 1924 in Spiritwood, North Dakota, son of the late Lloyd and Margaret (Mahoney) Stillings. He married Betty Pugh on November 11th, 1948 in Clinton. She preceded him death in 1977. He later married Betty Venem on January 7th, 1978. She preceded him in death in 2002. Ralph was a mechanic for Clinton Corn for 33 years. He was proud to have served his country during World War II in the United States Army. Survivors include three sons and a daughter, Michael (Deb) Stillings, Clinton, Stephen (Rhonda) Stillings, Conway AR, Susan Stillings and Kevin (Barb) Stillings, both of Clinton; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; four siblings, Jack (Gloria) Stillings, Auburn, Washington, Robert (Dorothy) Stillings, Albert Lee, MN, Larry Stillings, Metairie, LA and Alice (Art) Evans, Long Beach, CA. Besides his parents and both wives he was preceded in death by his stepparents. Funeral Services will be held at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, April 17th, 2007 at The Lemke Funeral Home, Clinton Chapel, 2600 Lincoln Way. Private Burial services will held. Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Clinton AmVets Honor Guard. Friends may call for visitation from 4-6:30 PM on Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
