Randy R. Stillmunkes

Randy Ray Stillmunkes, 48, of Bellevue, died Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Finley Hospital, Dubuque.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am, Saturday, October 28 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue. Burial will be held in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation for Randy will be from 3:00 - 7:00pm Friday evening at the Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service, in Bellevue and again Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 at the funeral home.Randy was born on May 11, 1969 in Bellevue, Iowa, son of Ray and Isabelle (Roling) Stillmunkes. He married his high school sweetheart, Renee O'Rourke on May 25, 1991 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in LaMotte.Randy graduated from Bellevue High School, Class of 1987. Shortly after, he was hired at Truck Country in Dubuque, as a diesel mechanic, which later developed into a sales position. Throughout the years, Randy has had many customers that have become close friends.Though Randy put a lot of time into his work, his family meant the most to him. Randyand Renee were a great couple and did everything together. His children meant the world to him, he was a hands-on dad. He taught his children everything from the importance of working hard to the importance of having fun. He loved spending time with his children. There was not a game, meet, or any other of their activities he missed.Randy was quiet, humble and generous. The man could fix anything. He enjoyed being outdoors and keeping busy.He will be deeply missed by all.Those left to honor his memory include his wife Renee Stillmunkes, of Bellevue; children, Colin, Corbin and Robyn Stillmunkes; his mother, Isabelle "lsy" Stillmunkes; six siblings, Linda (Merl) Heitkamp, Carol (Bill) lhrig, Sharon (Gary) Hoffmann, Lois Stillmunkes, Mark (Karla Reuter) Stillmunkes and Leta (Phil) Wallace; parents in-law, Pat and Darlene O'Rourke; brother and sister in-laws, his many nieces, nephews, cousins and many many friends.He was preceded in death by his father, Ray.In Lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Randys name.
