Rodney G. Miller, 78, of Bellevue, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025 following a long illness. Private Family Services will be conducted. Local arrangements entrusted at Hachmann-Mier Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue.
Rodney was born August 1, 1946, the son of Rodney Onie and Louise Miller. He served his country in the US Army 1966-1968 during the Vietnam War. Rodney enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs and spending time with his family. He married Sherry Etting on July 9, 1995 in Iowa City. They moved to Bellevue following Rodney’s and Sherry’s retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry; a son, Scott (Christy) Miller; stepson’s, Jason (Makaela O’Donnell) Yeager and Casey (Johannah) Yeager; and 9 grandchildren.
Rodney was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Lisa and a step-brother, Jack.
