Roger Christopher Drews

Roger Christopher Drews, 45, of Clinton, passed away Wednesday at his residence. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 21st, 2007 at 11:00 AM at St. Marys Catholic Church, Clinton. Father Anthony Herold will be officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4-8 PM at Lemke Funeral Homes-South, 2600 Lincolnway, Clinton. Pallbearers will be Thomas Drews, David Drews, Karl Lemke, Phil Lemke, John Lemke, and Reinhard Lemke. Honorary Pallbearers will include nieces, nephews, and the following, Roger Lemke, Rebekah Drews, Sarah Drews, Emily Drews, Daniel Drews, Bradley Drews, and Derek Drews. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Roger was born October 3, 1961 in Clinton, to Verne and Ruth (Lemke) Drews. He was a 1980 graduate of St. Marys High School. He was employed lastly as a laborer with Determan Industries. He also was a member of the Sons of AMVETS, Moose 363, and Prince of Peace Catholic Parish. Roger is survived by his parents; two brothers; David (Angie) Drews of Clinton; Thomas (Jane) Drews of Iowa City; three nieces; three nephews; and one great niece.
