Roland Ray Wiegert

Roland Ray Wiegert, 45, of Bellevue, passed away Wednesday, September 5th, 2007 at his home. Roland was born October 2nd, 1961 at the Bellevue Memorial Hospital, son of Rita (Schlecht) and the late Raymond Wiegert. He was a mechanic for Huss Implement in LaMotte for 19 years and a dairy farmer all his life. He graduated in 1980 from Bellevue High School and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in St. Donatus where he served on the Council for many years. His favorite hobbies were collecting toy tractors and restoring farm tractors. Besides his loving mother, Rita Wiegert, he is survived by one brother Reynold Wiegert, Bellevue and one sister Rhonda (Mark) Hefel; a niece Rachel Hefel both of Epworth; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides his father Raymond he was preceded in death by his grandparents Elmer and Mildred (Brown) Schlecht and Albert and Elda (Felderman) Wiegert. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, September 8th, 2007 at the St. John Lutheran Church in St. Donatus. Pastor Shane Koepke will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 3-8 PM at the Kingery ~ John C Lemke Funeral Home in Bellevue and again on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the time of services at the church in St. Donatus.
