Ronald Milo Kueter, 67, of Bellevue, passed away Wednesday morning, March 6, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque surrounded by his family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning, March 9, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation for Ron will be held from 3:00 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service and again on Saturday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Ron was born on August 30, 1945 in Bellevue, Iowa, son of Milo and Mary (Schilling) Kueter. He married LaVonne Scholtes on October 7, 1967 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue. He worked for John Deere Dubuque Works for 36 years, retiring in 2001. He then worked for Family Dollar in Maquoketa for the past 10 years. In his early years he worked as a part-time Police Officer in Bellevue. Ron had a great sense of humor, care free attitude, enjoyed people and had a signature laugh. He was a hard worker. Ron loved old John Deere tractors and riding his four-wheeler. Rons grandchildren were especially important to him. He will be deeply missed. Those left to honor his memory include his wife of 45 years, LaVonne, of Bellevue; two sons, Terry (Linnet) and Brian (Pamm); daughter, Jeanna (Mathew) Schmidt, all of Bellevue; six grandchildren, Amye Valant, Bobye McInnerney, Cathye Redmond, Chase Kueter, Devon Kueter and Patricia Schmidt; and brother, David (Linda) Kueter, also of Bellevue.
