Ruth L. Gurius

Ruth L. Gurius 83, of Bellevue, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in Madrid, Iowa. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue. Burial will follow in the First Presbyterian Cemetery. Ruth was born August 13, 1928, daughter of Allen and Esther (LaVoie) Gamble. She married Harold DeGear; he passed away February 19, 1954. She later married, Robert Gurius, he passed away, January 2, 2008. Ruth enjoyed playing golf, bowling and playing cards. She also enjoyed watching sports. Those left to honor her memory include her two sons, Craig (Sue) DeGear, of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and Keith (Angie) Gurius, of Slater, Iowa; three grandchildren, Ben (Mariah) DeGear, Sam DeGear and Michael Gurius; and a great granddaughter, Savannah DeGear. She is preceded in death by her parents and both husbands.
