Ruth E. Wagner

Ruth E. Wagner, 82, of Bellevue, passed away December 2, 2017, at Finley Hospital, Dubuque.A Christian Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 7 at St. John Lutheran Church in Bellevue. Visitation for Ruth will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service, in Bellevue and again Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. at the church.Ruth was born October 8, 1935, in Rural Bellevue, Iowa, the second child of Louis and Clara (Felderman) Wagner. The first several years of her life where spent on her uncles farm west of Bellevue. Her parents moved to town in 1942, where she remained until just a few years ago when she moved to assisted living. Ruth was a generous person, she lived with and took care of her parents during their later years.Ruth was independent, good natured and friendly. She always kept busy and loved the outdoors. Ruth took a great interest in birds, she enjoyed feeding and watching them. She will be deeply missed.Those left to honor her memory include her brother, George Wagner, of Bellevue; She was preceded in death by her parents.
