Stephen James Brown Sr., 60, of Clinton died Wednesday at his home. Cremation rites have been accorded. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 14th at 1:00 PM. A visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00-1:00 PM at Lemke Funeral Homes-South, 2600 Lincolnway, Clinton. Stephen was born June 24, 1946 in Clinton, IA to Raymond and Cathryn (Milan) Brown. He was a 1964 graduate of St. Marys High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1966-1968. He married Anita Rigby on October 19, 1984 at First Congregational Church of Clinton. He was employed at Dupont as a Charter/Production Flow Coordinator. Survivors include; his wife; one daughter; Christina (Cole) Brown-Harris of Houston, TX; two sons; Stephen (Lori) Brown Jr. of Calamus, IA; and Paul Brown of Minneapolis, MN; his mother; Cathryn Brown of Clinton; one step-daughter; JoAnn Jackson of Waukegan, IL; two step-sons; Bill and Sean Rigby of Oglesby, IL; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one sister Patti Broughton of Clinton; three brothers Jerry (Barb) Brown of Clinton; Brian (Patti) Brown of Clinton; and Kenny Brown of Peoria, IL. He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice.
