Sylvester B. Feller

Sylvester B. Shorty Feller, 74, of Bellevue, passed away Friday, June 23, 2006 at his home. Shorty was born October 28th, 1931 in Springbrook, Iowa, son of the late Nick and Anna (Kilburg) Feller. He married Elaine Blitgen on October 14th, 1953 in Bellevue. She survives. Shorty was a farmer all his life. He also had worked for Clinton Engine in Maquoketa and Midwest Pipe Coating Company in Bellevue. He was a member of the Bellevue Knights of Columbus and the Illinois State Stock Horse Association. Besides his loving wife, Elaine Feller, Bellevue, survivors include two sons, Pete (Marcia) Feller, Fulton, Illinois and Perry (Julia Boop)Feller, Bellevue; two daughters, Patty (Larry) Hager, Bellevue and Peg (Jim) Skoff, Bellevue; two grandchildren, Barry (Leslee)Hager, Port Byron, IL. And Brett Hager, Ames; one great grandson, Tayt Hager; one sister, Phyllis (Merrice) Steines, Preston; two brothers, Milo (Arlene) Feller, Preston, Omer Pete (Rosie) Feller, Preston, IA A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Monday, June 26th, 2006 at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Bellevue. The Rev. Stephen Meyer will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-7 pm at the Kingery Funeral Home in Bellevue.
