Thomas C. Jess

Thomas C. Jess, 79, of Bellevue, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 15, 2024. No Public Services will be conducted per his wishes.

Tom was born, February 4, 1945, the son of Clyde and Algean (Gretchen) Jess. He enjoyed drag racing, cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes, social gatherings, and tinkering with cars in his earlier years.

Survivors include his children, Tammy Muller, Scott (Ashlee) Jess, and Brian (Angela) Jess; siblings, Marty (Joan) Jess, and Sharon Kurt; 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Michael Jess and Sue Ann Koppes-Daugherty; and a brother in-law, Eugene Kurt.

Memorials may be directed to Jackson County Humane Society in Tom’s memory.
