Verna Mae Lineberry

Verna Mae Lineberry, 87 of Las Vegas NV died Tuesday May 10, 2011, after a courageous fight with pancreatic cancer. A Memorial Service will be celebrated Saturday, June 4 at 3:00 p.m. at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bellevue. Visitation for Verna Mae will be held from 1:00 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the memorial service. Verna Mae (Felderman) Lineberry was born on June 12, 1923 in Bellevue, Iowa the daughter of Cap and Emma Felderman. Verna Mae married William Bill Lineberry in 1943. After raising their three children, managing rooming houses and latter three motels; they followed their daughters to Las Vegas in the year of 1984. Verna Mae had a love for gardening every year she would say she wasnt going to plant anymore flowers and yet there she would be every morning tending her roses, pansies, snap dragons and her favorite Columbines. She truly loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as her nieces Donna Jean, Norine, and Linda, Verna Mae was proudly to speak of them to anyone who would listen. She left us with an emptiness but lots of stories. Surviving are her children Dennis and Sandra (Larry); Grandchildren David (Bridget), Jay (Nicole), Cole (Amy), Kyle and Trisha (Sawyer), and her precious Great-Grandchildren Tyler, Grace, Sara, Matthew, Sami Jo, Austin, Turner and new baby Lineberry. Waiting for her when she arrived on the other side were her parents Cap and Emma, husband Bill, son James, daughter Billie Jean, daughter-in-law Barbara, brothers Howard, Orie, Earl Felderman.
