Wayne F. Kieffer

Wayne F. Kieffer, 62, of Bellevue, died Monday, March 29, 2010, as a result of a farming accident. Wayne was born on May 26, 1947 in Bellevue, son of Donald and Rosina (Kloft) Kieffer. He married Marian Meier in 1981 and had two children Matthew and Alexandra Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010 at St. John Lutheran Church, in Bellevue. Friends may call from 4:00 7:00 p.m. Friday at Kingery Funeral Home and again Saturday morning at the church after 9:30 until service time. He worked for WHKS & Company in East Dubuque, Illinois as an Engineering Technician and he also farmed south of Bellevue. Wayne was a quiet, kind and intelligent man. He enjoyed reading and working on the farm. He was always ready to stop and help others. His infectious smile and gentle sense of humor will long be remembered. He will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him. His surviors include his two children, Matthew (Stephanie) Kieffer, of Eldridge, IA and Alexandra Kieffer, of New Haven, CT; and nine siblings, Jerry (Kris) Kieffer, Jean (Steve) Owens, both of Dubuque, Mary Cain of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, Pat Kieffer, Deb Genz, Connie Kieffer all of Iowa City, Rita Kieffer, of Charlottesville, Virginia, Barb (Jack) Morio of Marion and Betty (David) Martyn, Gardiner, Montana; and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
